Apple reaches iPhone deal in China

Apple has reached on a new deal in China to sell its most popular product iPhone in China.

China’s 2nd largest cellular company owned by the state, Unicom has reached a deal with Apple, which will enable Apple to sell its iPhone brand of in China, Unicom will be the first cellular provider company in the country who will formally support iPhone.

China is not an easy market for high-price smart phones although it is world’s largest mobile phone market, dominated mostly by low-cost mobile phones. Apple’s iPhone is being used in the country, most of them are smuggled into the country and are available in grey markets. This latest development will help Apple to gain formal ground in China’s mobile phone market on a strong footing.
