Google Chrome browser was a good addition to the ever-growing family of the internet browsers. It’s now more then 8 months past the launch of Google Chrome Browser and now Google has announced to launch Google Chrome OS.

According to Google official blog site, it will be available for public in the second half of year 2010. Google official blog also discloses that this OS will be an Open Source Project and will be running on top of a Linux based Kernel which will definitely add to the stability and security in today’s demanding IT World.

Moreover Google Chrome OS initially will be targeted for netbooks and Goolge claims that this will be a ligh-weight operating system and user will feel speed, simplicity and security  as the top-most features of this OS.
