This new debate has now been started to emerge sas Google’s Android software has started to penetrate in new markets, challenging the dominance of Apple’s iPhone. Google’s Android software for smartphones was first launched in year 2008.

In a recent development, two major cellular operator companies in UK, Orange and T-Mobile have planned to launch new mobile phones using Android software. Orange will be using Motorola’s phones and T-Mobile will be using Huawei phones for challenging not only the iPhone brand of Apple but also the phones based on Microsoft Windows Mobile platform and Nokia’s Symbion smartphones.

Up till now, Google android has not gain enough success in its rivalry with iPhone, but it seems that it could take some time when Android will be able to challenge the market dominance of Phone and in the meanwhile Android could give iPhone a hard time in this competition.
