Reports are that Telenor Pakistan has signed an agreement with a third party vendor for development of its 3G network, anticipating a 3G license being awarded to them in near future.

3G license awarding is long due by the regulating authorities in Pakistan. Telenor has not spoken officially on this latest development yet.

Telenor started its operation in Pakistan in 2005 and currently is the second largest Cellular operator in Pakistan with 20 million user base.
