Launch of Windows 7 and old PC’s will cause companies to spend on computers due to which we can see growth in the sales of PC hardware, this was said by Paul Otelini, CEO of the world’s largest chip manufacturer Intel in a recent interview.
Well we can see Mr. Otelini’s optimism in his statement, his views are important and can be seen as a prediction for growth in the PC’s market for corporate sector rather then for home users. According to some recent reports, Intel has seen an increase in its revenue in third quarter of this year, this could be an indication for some improvements in current market stress which has hit hard on the PC’s market.
Other thing we have to see in near future is how will Windows 7 effect the overall spending of corporate sector in the desktop and laptops market, as Windows 7 has higher requirements for hardware as compare to Windows XP, which is currently is the most widely operating system in the world.
