Linux has strong support for IPv6-enabled daemons. Linux DNS daemon “named” has IPv6 support since version 9. XINETD version 2 has IPv6 support. Web server Apache 2 supports IPv6 by listening on IPv6 addresses and Virtual hosts listening on IPv6 addresses. DHCPv6 can be used for stateful configurations. The daemon itself need not necessary run on the Linux default IPv6 gateway router.

More over it tcp-wrappers, ftp & ssh daemons etc can be easily configured for IPv6.
