Microsoft’s Vista operating system has support for IPv6. It uses a tunnel of IPv6 over IPv4. In Microsoft Vista IPv6 support is enabled by default and IPv6 enabled applications can be executed. Users can configure IPV6 settings through properties of Internet Protocol. Vista has capability of IPv6 addresses in URLs. Vista uses DHCPv6 configuration on local IPv6 network.
