Motorola has just un-veiled its new model of smartphone ‘CLIQ’, the phone will be launched in the last quarter of this year. This new model will be based on Android platform and will be a touch screen device mainly focusing on popular social networking and social media sites.

This new smartphone will be optimized for use with social network sites, and with a more streamlined support for organizing contacts, calender, emails and other messages, it will have 3G and Wi-Fi with it, a 5 mega pixel camera with auto focus and a stylish ‘QWERTY’ keyboard, you can easily make movies and share them using YouTube, playing music is also a fun, its easy to backup all your data including contacts, emails and social network messages on a secure server, and that data can be retrieved on new phone with ease.

Motorola CLIQ will challenge numerous smartphone manufacturers including Nokia, Apple and Palm, these companies have recently introduced several smartphone models in the market. No doubt, smartphone is a very dynamic market these days and have shown tremendous growth, but will Motorola be able to revert its current mobile phone business losses?
