Sony has confirmed that it will be shipping Google Chrome browser with its laptops, this will enable Google to get a foot hold in the PC market which is already shipping Microsoft’s Internet Explorer and another browser Mozilla’s Firefox.

Chrome, released last year, is a modern web browser which can run latest multimedia and other web-based applications very well, but according to a survey by a marketing company, it’s been able to get a market share of just 2.59% of internet users worldwide.

Microsoft’s Internet Explorer is market leader with 67.7% market share, Mozilla’s Firefox is on 2nd number with usage figure of 22.5%, and other well-known browser is Apple’s Safari with 4%.
