Gmail is being very proactively offering so many new features to its users. One of the new features Gmail has just introduced is attaching a file through drag and drop. This is really a good feature to save your precious time.

Steps to attach file:

1) Open Compose new email window of Gmail and the folder containing the files that are to be attached with the email.

2) Simply drag the files you want to attach on the green area of compose window.

3) Now your files are in the attached files list.

Note: This features is currently available only with Mozilla Firefox 3.6 and Google Chrome browsers.
