
In a recent stunning development, Amazon has announced to launch a tablet for $199, less than half of the price of the most cheapest famous Apple’s ‘iPad’. Newly launched ‘Kindle Fire’ will be released on November 15, 2011.
Amazon has announced that the orders will be “prioritized on a first come, first served basis”.
Amazon’s press release says:
“There are two types of companies: those that work hard to charge customers more, and those that work hard to charge customers less. Both approaches can work. We are firmly in the second camp.”
Will it change the tablet world significantly? The answer seems to be yes to a great extend as Amazon has launched its tablet PC with least possible price and it is also offering lots of attractions with it, like 18 million movies, TV shows, songs, magazines, and books. Amazon Appstore, which offers thousands of popular apps and games. Amazon also promises ‘Ultra-fast web browsing’ through ‘Amazon Silk’.
Amazon also offers all-new Kindle for only $79. It is also offering two new touch Kindles, Kindle Touch and Kindle Touch 3G, for $99 and $149 respectively.
